Goddess Podcasts

Happy Monday!
I feel like this my play-date more than it is theirs.
Every Monday 12:30 I get to listen to two of my favourite women speak about the things I love to hear about; Kagiso Msimango of The Goddess Academy and Azania Mosaka who is now on PowerFM 12-3pm weekdays.
Fabulous thing now, is that if you've never heard of her and don't know what she's about.       You can listen to last week's podcasts and feel what I'm feeling, will update as soon as I get today's one.
BE EXCITED & HAVE AN EXCITING WEEK!

It is unfortunate for me it seems, because I’m going home.

Yes, KZN. Oh and I’m doing my hairzzz also (shall shareJ). But you creative breed and must have a lovely Thursday night. I love Thursday night  groove. It makes the weekend longer.

Do yourself the two favours and head out. Be Well.

The showcase

This will be really short and sweet as I am typing from one of my cheap Hillbrow joints.

Thanks to MJandStuff we have a dopedidiy sungthing in the city to feel excited about.

There has been much confusion regarding dates (not partners) and venues around this event...

I serioulsy believe there will be some of this Disarannao jwala stuff flowing into our glasses, mainly because I want some plus I've never tasted it. I'm just saying it had better taste goodly.

Check them out on their facebook page for an explanation of what will be going down.

I hope to see you there Creative Breed, Great Dane, Thusrday 9pmIt's a date :)

FINALLY!!!

Wheeee! So I FINALLLLLLY got to go to the WKNDSOCIAL Yesus! * WharreNice*
Creative breed, for me it’s not really about the event. Noooo.Okhay , partly yesss.
Firstly, itsa n event hosted by ladies. Feminist much? Hahaha Yes. I love these ladies. I get why they are friends. Each of them is strong, not strong but strong, beautiful and confident in their own magnificent way. They each fully bring a key element to the #OtherGirls. … much like the SpiceGirls.
Scary- Steph
Ginger- Tumi
Sporty-TeeTee
Baby- Nandi
Posh- Vie
Hahaha, I’m just being misorderly. Oh wait there’s six of them Eish. Uhmokhay can Thandi share baby with Nandi. Okhay scrap that. I love these ladies. I wish them all the best of the best. We all deserve nice things, thanks Nova.

Okhay, okhay the EVENT.Disclaimer:not a journalistic view, but Macebisa’s  experience.
Now we all know how much I love crannies in the city neh, so KING KONG in Troyeville is another one. It’s very close to MainStreet, right after the Jeppe Police station. You see, I can say this confidently  now because I got soooo lost, even found myself in Kensington. Jah! But the forces of the AbeyH were with me throughout the trip… I found the right shades and a capoppad to finish off mySportsLuxe outfit at a discount price nogalJ. You’ll see later. Oh yes and plenty help; from the taxi driver to the lifts to the petrol attendents. Don’t ASK.

I met and sat with remarkable ladies too; Jabu,Sophie and Fenste. They spoke a lot about travel, which is something that is right there inside my vortex of creation. *High5AbeyH*
The food, the music, the people.Just  fantastic. To my guy friends that complain about Dfests, there were many LOVELY ladies present, I mean it. Thanks again to uVie of VieMyselfandI.blogspot.com for the THIKITIEEE!

Sooo…. next month we are on it breed, right? Look, all I’m saying is that even if I’m not there for the main event I’ll be there for the after party.

HHHey, side thought nyanadaar. The mean age was about 28 okhay maybe 30. Now I feel like I’m  only23. Can I lay off of myself slightly and allow myself to BE.ThENKS…

Oh how I love thee CB.

The Sports Luxe Theme

Great thing you asked. Yesss it’s the weekend social this Sunday.Oh and the Sexpo. Hahaha. But anyway, as love would I have it I WON, yes some 2 tickets to the event. Now you need to understand that I’ve been following this gig since it began last year and haven’t managed to attend not even one. Last month I even bought an outfit for it, all to my past financial despair.

Look at me now, free ticket baby, but no partner, no outfit…. Okhay I looked today, but to my misalignment didn’t really find into ethi ncam ncam apha kum’. And partner wise? I know the most aligned is already there having a good time.

The Universe had the wherewithall to create this desire within me and meet it and now continues to deliver through my path of most allowance. *High5 Abey*
For being a liker, ngiyalunga shwem! this is probably one of the most differently able themes for me, since these kinda clothing are not in closet, because I’m not really a”feshen” kinda girl.
I just like clothes and seeing how much fun I can have with them, qha!
I know I want to feel naarce, look like a “feshen” aaand sexy more especially cause FUNI is kinda frisky and I like that it’s in a very lady like manner, I guess that’s why it’s not ZAZI. ( ….the lady parts, TMI? sorryL.NOOOOT) BUUUUUt most of all I want to FEEL the wadapaddi, you know.

If you have any idea where I can find this kinda clothing, hit me up please. That time I even wanna dalla a new hairstyle. Mmmmm…
There will definitely be snaps available for your viewing pleasure.

You and Abraham are invited. HOSH!

Absolut Fit

So it seems that pop-ups are really inner most thing in the city, okhay maybe have
been let’s say for the past two-three years, of course this is according to my exposure.
Nevertheless, about two weeks ago, I went to a fashion pop-up event hosted at the lovely coast studios and sponsored by Absolut Vodka.

For  creative breed as you know.,I have just emerged from a long term work relationship, therefore am taking things slow. My approach was different in the past when it came to these kind of events, you know. I was still about making “contacts”, “networking” and getting to know the “right people”.

Ugghhh! Yes I know the “right” people in the industry but in all honesty what could I offer them. Whatever it was, was I even ready? Hhhayi mahn, it just became a “chase of the illusive” for me, that is. I’m not tryina be the “best Blogger” no, too much pressure there. So you ask me what this is?
I say;  “a public diary of shumkind”

I’m done nge-finda-finda hey. Or atleast for my own sanity I need to divorce that mentality. My passion is not hustling. Instead for now it is completing my degree and taking things easy whilst having fun, howzat?

There has been so much development kimina( in me)  in me in the past five months and I feel like I have’t been able to bring together these different aspects well via this blog.  I needed assistance in recreating the “look” I desired and have found it. So give it some time and everything will be pashash since I know  WE love reading this blog so much.
Anyway I just love coast studios, yet another little cranny in the city you should check it out  on 50 Gwigwi Mwrebi street, by OST. Locate it via GPS for a good laugh. #ThankMeLater

For future events there follow them on twitter @coaststudios.
Since I don’t have camera at the moment, which is cool and uncool; cool because I’m not a photographer and uncool  because of the depence on other photographers. So while we wait on my  lomography cam. I will let you know as soon as TsholuPhotography to put them up on his Facebook page. I’ve sent the gent a message.

me...

Cheers and Goodnight from Wax (photographer) Gonste and Macebisa...

Since its woman's month I'm sure I can get away this.... Actually,no that's the problem right there! Ekse"ikwam' lah!"
We need to start having a different conversations as goddesses, instead of not loving the pussy and waiting for another somebody to tell you about it beauty, just find out for yourself. I mean, even A MAN did these clay punani's, thank-you for that.

Never underestimate...

Morning creative breed, there is much love here for you....
Transitions and transformations have the better of me.
All I can say is "sekulungile"... especially the more we laugh.

8.01.2013

Sooo very profound in my life.
Happy Goddess Month!
Love, allow, appreciate and PLEASURE the Goddess.

6.19.2013

I have been home as you know. I am well, all too well. One of my prize "re-memberings" or revelations... Why wanting creates more wanting aaaahhh! This! My mind has been boggling with it for the longest time and I finaaally get it and that makes me happy. Oh so happy!
So I am challenging the new MaCebisa to allow herself to create more of what she is about and share that more regularly as she has been denying herself and in effect the creative breed of the fun that has been banging down at her door.
Lets cruise! “Life is supposed to be FUN!” Abe Hicks
(Check out the “It’s home time!!!” page for my “KZN diary”)

SWUMMER LOVE

Creative Breed,I am alive, well and kicking. I am home:) I feel very spoilt since I can switch on the fan in the EVENING nogal, #MustBeNice.
I thought I should let know you that since Empangeni is a quite town, I haven't been out much though I went to a market but since there are no snaps, jah! However  I have been doing a lot of reading:). Crazily enough I hadn't read an of Paulo Coelho's books, I am the kind of person that is supposed to have read them, and so I did! Both the Alchemist and the Pilgrimage, I must say  that I preferred the Alchemist, it's a little less "culty"/ "eerie", that said I must say I fell in love with the man via his vlogs. He comes across as a six year old trapped in a old man's body, I say this because having had achieved so much and gained so much wisdom, he still doesn't make it seem like he has all the answers, but I guess that is wisdom after all. I think the fact that english is not his mother tongue adds to boyish demeanour, he just makes me chuckle. I am on Martha Beck's ass now.

"Mali ayikho, kodwa ngizothenga ibhanoyi""

The reason I put this video up of 'The Soil' is because of this specific performance. After Sam left my life was shattered, but the mammie in the ink (navy) pullover is unnnn-believaBLE. SHE ROCKS MY SOUL, I must find her and that I will. I hope you loved it as much as I did.

Project "Yonga Leyo Mali"

Creative Breed, I am glad to say that project YLM is under way. Before I go on, let me explain.

As we all know, I put myself through the wire for eight months right? However like I said, it wasn’t all bad, there was a lot of groove involved, yesss. Now there came a point in time when hindsight and introspection pulled me in  to take heed my spending patterns as I had zero savings and just felt like it was impossible ( to save that is).
After having looked at my bank statements I realised that it was those R56.60, R75.24 and R98.12s that were killing me. Because somehow I sold myself the lie that if the bill is under a R100.00 or a little over like R112.10 it’s okhay. BULL!!!! Luckily Mosima felt the same way and this is how project “yonga leyo mali” which means “save that money” has begun.

Obviously we needed a plan of action, a great one! This plan had to cater for our like for things and love for life... In order to avoid FOMO,you need to be doing something that’s much more fulfilling of course?
We both love to cook, bake, read, sip play games etc. and so naturally the great indoors have become our biggest ally in this quest. Mosima is saving for a trip to London and at the moment I’m getting into the habit before I start working again...
Today was the first day. (We want to focus on days like Thursday’s and Friday’s which are most tempting to spend gwop for us). It went so well, I had a really great time,I’m fed, nicenyana via the “saint” and feel good enough to wake up and do something constructive in the morning.

Now don’t fret, I’m still gonna bring the great discoveries of Macebisa’s wondering eye, just in a more balanced way maybe? My camera wanted to live its own life again, but here are some snaps . Hope everyone is enjoying their Friday night.

Nneka_Valley:)))

There's something about really good music that makes you want to share it with a real lover, yes, no? YESSS.  I just just diggidy dig dig deep graves of love for Nneka!!! Kinda reminds me of Ayo with that innocent, sillynyana, natural beauty. Thanks to a friend, I can now share it with you! Enjoy the musiq! Happy weekend times! I don't  have much planned. However today, I bake met a tjomie all part of our "yonga leyo mali" movement....I will surely let you iiiin:)

Friends, Markets and Beautiful views.

Friends, markets and beautiful views.
Nothing makes my life more than discovering gems and this particular one is in the middle industrial-like Krammerville. How glad was stumbled upon the monthly “Collective” market on 03 Desmond? *oh wharre nice. Thanks to their success of a launch that took place in December they’ve decided to make if official.

Do yourself a favour and check it out, it happens every first Sunday of the month. Don’t leave until you’ve visited the restaurant down the road, I’m sorry I didn’t see the name but they have the most delicious foot long sausage rolls, beautifully intriguing  decor and one stunning view of Santdon.
